IT Learning and Development (ITLD)
Overview:
IT Learning Development (ITLD) serves the evolving technology needs of the Penn State community with IT support, training, and resources. Beyond live, face-to-face and online training workshops, the group provides a wide variety of other performance support resources to help students, faculty, and staff members get the most out of University technologies.
ITLD allows users to search, browse, and request learning resources; specifically, ITLD is responsible for the Learning Paths resource, which curate the best learning resources on a given topic to help users build skills and knowledge from start to finish. Learning Paths provide a sequenced, structured route to give learners control of the learning experience by combining courses, web-based modules, job aids, knowledge articles, and more. LP content is a combination of vendor-provided resources and those specially developed internally for Penn State-specific-use cases.
